But Silverstein is great so I can't hate Victory.

That commercial really does make me laugh though.

Any label that has commercials isn't indie. So, it's interesting to hear that and cross reference that to the announcement the label made before this CD was released about "supporting independent music."

that remember this kid seems like a poser, but i still like them alot. they arent that bad they have 3 diffrent guitar parts.

and alkaline trio and silverstein arent pop punk. pop punk to me is fall out boy and the click 5. alkaline trio and silverstien are way better and harder then them, not that alkaline trio is hard though. but alkaline trio seems more of a darker rock to me.

THE CLICK FIVE ISNT POP PUNK! jeez. They dont even pretend to be. They are straight pop there's not even an argument. They have no punk in them at all.

Silverstein isnt punk, they are another band of the emo/pop-punk fusion. I havent heard them, but they aren't punk. neither is Alkaline Trio.

There is no emo present in Silverstein or Hawthorne Heights.

I agree. Just saying this is what the kids call emo, which is apparently cool if you update your Myspace with pics of you crying, but annoying if you still use your brain.

Read Damrod's muse.

But where would the fun be without genres? Although 8 subdivisions of punk is calling it close. You need maybe 5 genres to encase all of rock, bu like Damrod says, if you want to get an unknown band known, you need to explain their sound. Thus, genres.

How on God's green earth is this considered average?
This band diminishes my faith in humanity.
that remember this kid seems like a poser, but i still like them alot. they arent that bad they have 3 diffrent guitar parts.
Three different gutair parts? Bah, one, or two will play, while the other takes a break. There's no technicality to it, and it's extremely generic, so I don't see how you can qualify having three guitarists redeeming.

Thanks for this review. I was wondering if they actually used a three-guitar lineup well, since Guitar World and magazines like that were all over them recently. But it turns out they're just covering another flavor-of-the-month band as usual, only this time the band has a gimmick to make the articles slightly more interesting.

Too bad the band itself is still dreadfully boring. I applaud your efforts to sit through this album, but I will not rate it because I could definitely not do the same.

i agree withe the majority of 10-15 year olds out there, hawthorn heights rocks- that is until the new flavor of the month is out. Yeah, that was sarcasm.

3 guiarists? c'mon, the way they play makes the music just sound noisey. i can easily train like 3 epileptic monkeys to play guitar better than them than listen to this album and not get an incapacitating head ache. i won't say they're the crappiest band that apeals to angst ridden teens on the face of the earth, im just not eager to hear their music. ever again. This Message Edited On 03.30.06

their new album is awesome too. how could you say the singer needs to work on his vocals.

cd might be "awesome" but the vocals need a little help but JT will pull threw

Why do you put such big spaces in between your quotes? It makes it kind of awkward looking.

And I don't think that AC/DC could be considered one of the greatest bands of all time.
