The World Looks Red + Confusion Is Next combo goes hard. I'm a fan of the opener too. This is distant and thorny as hell for the most part, but there are moments of obvious cohesion - let's not pretend this is all unlistenable, discordant noise (as some ppl seem to think re much of early SY, generally).

The World Looks Red is fantastic, great that the band played it live towards the end of their lifetime. Fun fact: Michael Gira wrote the lyrics and gave it to SY, but later Swans made their own version of the song on The Glowing Man, which is completely different but equally stunning.

'Bad Mood' sets the tone for the whole album so well, miraculous and bold especially for a sophomoric release. The album's peak, though, is indeed the four track run from 'Shaking Hell' through 'Confusion Is Next' - a perfect little summation of the No Wave movement joining forces with unadulterated noise (or perhaps just noisy?) rock, for better or for worse.
