first off, it's way too long. second, although i still have to listen to it a few more times, she sounds much more pre-fab pop star on a good number of the tracks here than what i think is her distinct sound (which i like more obviously). i'll probs write a sound-off on this at some point as sowing has the review but i feel like she lost some of the intimacy that i liked about her and frankly some of the hooks aren't up to snuff. there are some great songs here though ("state of grace," "holy ground," "stay stay stay" off the top of my head). the snow patrol duet is terrible btw
