i've got the album "CC" a little while ago and it got me into in flames so much that i read all this than bought whoracle and that blows CC away IMO and i think that emo is an insult to in flames but it doesnt actually mean much because as spoon of grimbo said every band sings with emotion and being classified as emo means that ur basically sad and well the odd time want to kill urself but those ppl are just creepy, but neways......in flames...new favourite band i cant wait till july 11 im seein them in toronto

Funnily enough, even the singles are worth tracking down IMO. The remix of My Sweet Shadow is really quite good, and one of them also has their cover of Genesis' Land Of Confusion.
I'm listening to Reroute To Remain now and just grinning like a happy little idiot.
In Flames Trivia, Pt. 1- If you've ever seen the video for Trigger and wondered who the hell those other guys riding around in the truck are, it's Soilwork. Go watch the video for Soilwork's Rejection Role, and you'll see the exact same video in reverse, with Soilwork playing and In Flames riding around.

also, the whole in flames/soilwork video thing, is what got me into in flames to begin with, although i never really got into soilwork in the same way...



some of their older vids are a bit crap... only for the weak had them just standing around, and the lip synching wasnt great lol!

I'm pretty sure it's on the Trigger EP, I'm just too lazy to walk into the other room and check.
Yeah, the Only For The Weak video wasn't their finest hour...I dunno, none of their videos are that great. Trigger's probably my fave, actually. Then again, there are great bands like Metallica who have only made one or two good videos in over twenty years, so go figure.
On a complete aside, my winamp playlist just randomly threw up The Touch by Stan Bush, which reminded me that Unearth used it as their intro tape when I saw them. Now THAT'S cool.
But yeah, er, In Flames are good, to get back to the point.

This album took over my listening for awhile



Started while I was running, Crawl Through Knives is perfect for keeping you going, alot of the songs are actually, then I realized that I would be listening to it constantly while watching a tennis game for one of my school's teams, wierd link, the images of movement connected with the music and invaded by skull



I always skip scream though, the lyrics make me cringe, sounds too much like 'you scream, I scream, we all scream for icecream'

I enjoyed this CD almost through and through it is not the In Flames i know and love but i enjoy this CD!
