I know many disagree, but I think they took the Groove Metal sound too seriously with this album. I still like it, but it's riffs and solos are far less emotional than in Cowboys From Hell, and some of the songs here have few redeeming features aside from the groove. I really prefer the US power/thrash tendencies of Cowboys From Hell.

Fair enough, maybe it's just the style of CfH that I prefer considering some of my favorite metal artists are Jag Panzer and Megadeth.
