i-iii are fantastic, some of the best post-rock emo out there. especially i. wish the vocalist did more of the strained/screamed vox he's great. really good overall, i like a lower tone in emo. iv is decent and v is such a bummer of a ending. a dull piano ballad. iv is already kind of a comedown and v just does it again but minimally. would've maybe felt earned on like an hour long record but not on a 30 min one.
but very good! excited to check out the new one. i'm a sucker for those shimmery tremz. just beautiful.

Checking this album now. It’s really good. Might check the new one. But what’s the deal with the (Find Yourself) songs? Are they just instrumental versions?
|

Ok that’s clear that’s what is going on, but what is the point? Is it just for people who don’t like vocals in their post rock? Lol
