Every song off of Colours is suffering through eight minutes of bullshit for that thirty second cool part.

I'll have grilled lamb on ciabatta with mango chutney, baked brie, avacado, caramelized onion, bell peppers, and a slice of pickle.

Well Id rather listen to BTBAM than these guys. They're one extreme though.

The Ghost Inide are joining The Amity Affliction on their Chasing Ghosts tour this fall. That would be an awesome show!

Band rules, album does not[2].

Easily their weakest effort aside from the production. The breakdowns all sound bad and are nothing compared to the time signatures and shoutouts used on their debut. Every harsh part on FATFO functions and flaws better than his GWYG counterpart. Also the cleans are annoying and only work well on ENGINE 45. I really cannot understand how someone that loves their discography is able to dig the chorus of DARK HORSE. To me this is Nickelback part two, literally. Also WHITE LIGHT is a great song, sure, but seems overhyped compared to a track e.g. like SHINER or FAITH AND FORGIVENESS. Maybe someone should not forget the roots of a band by judging new records. One guy mentioned HORIZONS from Parkway Drive, which (aside from the production and sound again!) is a laughable effort compared to KILLING WITH A SMILE. If you want real progression look at Misery Signals, For Today or even Stick To Your Guns. Just my opinion on the case.

Ps: this does not make GET WHAT YOU GIVE an unsatisfying listen, its still a great record. Just not that great as their forerunners and a bit too much relying on the melodic side and redundant breakdowns instead of useful/efficient ones.

aside from all that, great review by the way.
