cuz they are both on the border of melodic hardcore and post hardcore with post-rock tendencies and high pitched emotional vocals I guess

the wave was just an inside joke with la dispute and a few other bands that got taken out of context. is this band supposed to be part of that?

Even though I really enjoyed PBtT's latest release, I found it hard to listen to, perhaps due to its sheer intensity. Does any one think I'd have the same issue with this album? Because what I'm reading really interests me!

Maybe. Of course, you'd never really know until you check it out yourself!

Possibly. I used to not be able to stand really harsh hardcore, but you should try to listen to things that's in between what you're comfortable listening to and things like this.

Like, if this is too heavy for you, try listening to melodic hardcore. And come back to this later.

Its not so much the "heaviness" of the genre that I have an issue with, I listen to Dillinger's Escape plan & Parkway drive styles of music, I just found PBtT somewhat abrasive

If I'm honest, the amount of attention this has got, I'm defiantly going to listen to it at some point.

Thanks for the feed back though Chipmunk.

I agree with redsky here on this one.

Also, after a good year lurking on this website, decided to make a profile. So yea...

Can't wait for my vinyl of this comes in!

I absolutely love Head in the Clouds. It really had it's own vibe and his vocals on the EP are so much better than Desolate Peaks. But, bands change, best of luck and hope they gain success through this release.
