Picked this up earlier this year, it's pretty cool. I had never heard of the band before I read this review. Vocalist has a weird yell/scream though.

One of their best imo. These guys have kept making such strong albums since they made a comeback in the early 2000's, newer stuffs definitely as good as their early material for sure

Seems as good a day as any to bump the apocalypse album of 2012

This is a great album. It took me a bit to get used to his more "harsh" styled vocals, but once that set in this is a winner in my book.

This is the only record I have heard by KJ and I really like it. Anyone have any suggestions on where to head next? I didn't realize they have been around for so long.

I thought it was really weird the first few times I heard it, but I ended up really enjoying it.

Imo I've always preferred this band's metal sound over their post-punk one.
My top 5 would be something like:
1) Hosannas from the Basement of Hell
2) Brighter than A Thousand Suns
3) Killing Joke (2001)
4) MMXII
5) Absolute Dissent
4 and are pretty interchangeable tho

Easily prefer their post-punk era. First 2 albums are my favorites.
