He'll get a bullet in his skull before that happens. This album is well produced, but the vocal style and the lyrics in general are awful. Especially the lyrics to 'In da club'

He claims to be this huge gangster then makes a song called candyshop
A Candy Shop is a whore house in Fiddy terms, with the lollipop referring to his genetalia. So basically the whole song is a sexual innuendo. When you consider how popular the song was with females, and how many like to sing along. He did a good job perverting thousands upon thousands of woman.
Any gangsta would be proud of that accomplishment.

Ugh, you didn't read the review did you? He was shot at 9 times, not shot on 9 seperate occasions.
50 cent talks about how much of a pimp he is but its funny because he never was a pimp.
Along with many other criticisms of 50 Cent that you guys have made, I've already discussed this in the review. 50 Cent actually did live in the enviroment that he claims in his lyrics. He brags, as I said in the review. I also mentioned in the review that his lyrics weren't the strongest, and took that into consideration.
To the people that say his rapping is poor and slurred, I already acknowledged that in the review.
To the people that say the beats are generic, I already acknowledged that in the review.
To the people that say my rating is loony, read the conclusion of the review and try to remember what context the rating was in.This Message Edited On 04.25.06

I haven't listened to this in quite some time, and probably should. This review keeps on popping up just reminds me how much I like fiddy's music. Anyway, The Massacre still owns this on any given day.

Liberi Iam not talking about you're reveiw Im talking about 50. Sure im just repeating what everyone else has said, but im still allowed to say why I think 50 is a douche (even if everyone has already said everything needed to be said about 50).
Don't rate the album based on your opinion of 50 Cent. Thats all I'm trying to get across.
Liberi you seem like a smart guy but you don't seem to realize 50 is no longer gangster and he has no right to be acting like one.
It depends on what you classify as a gangsta, and how little you know about 50 Cents current life.
You have to remember that whilst making this album, he was a poor gangsta. If you think he has sold out after making this album, then fine. But don't base your rating of the album on stuff that happened after the release of this album.

Honestly, this is the one rapper (other than Violent J) that I can't stand. I don't really like rap with the exception of perhaps Bone thugs in harmony, but I can tolerate most of it.

I can only listen to 50 cent when I'm driving. He's not really a "hey I have nothin to do so I'm going to listen to a guy rap about his penis" kind of artist. Fom what I have heard though, He has incredible talent. In my opinion he could use his talent in more constructive ways (aslo like: Eminem) but you have to admit, he sure did make a big splash in the rap genre.

There is some good production, but 50 Cent is NOT a good rapper.
