All their stuff is good except Decibels, not that it had no potential, but that horrendous production which sounds like it was recorded on cassette tape recorder....ouch.



I actually like Custom Killing. Snake Eyes is killer. But yeah the 2 10-11 minute songs are ambitious, a bit dull sometimes but they are well done in other times..the song's already massively long so of course there's gonna be good riffs that kill.



They left the ultra-long song-writing to then legit Metallica. Well DM was good, the new one has zero contribution from Kirk again, so it's not that great, all his solos lost in an ipod accident? I think with the money they have they could have hired forensic corporations to get all kirk's riffs....Kirk's songs are the best on DM which made me almost fall off my chair, it took them 20 years to write a good thrash album again, only slightly ruined by Hetfield's AJFA vocals. But fuck those guys, the only thing I own from them is Ride The Lightning and the Beyond Magnetic EP because it was 99 cents and the songs are actually good on it, an EP that lasts 25 minutes is worth it in any case.



But when it comes to Razor only their first 2 releases bore me, they don't suck, but they got that biker speed metal thing to it, they only started to be a thrash band with the excellent Evil Invaders.

One of my all-time fav THRASH albums. Found a copy of the original cd at a nearby thrift store yesterday for 50 cents and in perfect condition. Rules so much!
