Townsend is a genius in a studio, he just "because he´s human" fails to deliver the same performance live, but as a studio musician i will say he´s the best and most interresting guy out there, and have been since the nineties! This album together with SYL songs like Skeksis is some of the most mindblowing stuff i´d ever heard, Up there with the best by Opeth, just very different of cause!
