I don't know why people get surprised that this is actually good. Cannibal Corpse has been a very consistent band for over two decades.

Nah they're good. They've never really been amazing except for The Bleeding, but they're still consistent.

i originally thought Evisceration Plague was awesome but as time grew on it just became solid. Maybe it'll happen to this album too but I'm sure Torture is definitely better than EP

i agree Kill was more than ok, you should agree with bestower of names

anyways this is better than ep yes, but my prob is the production department. yeah it's crisp yadda yadda but at really high volumes[which is how I love to listen to music] this is pretty ear piercing. with older production styles like off eaten this would be a really good album that would hold so much more appeal to me.

Evisceration Plague beats this and Kill in my opinion.

I agree with seedofnothing about the production, i always end up having to brace myself when the song ends and the next song's coming up

I'm surprised this album is getting so much love, especially since I thought it was pretty similar to 'Plague, which didn't get nearly as much attention. Captain Doo must be convincing people to like this stuff, or something ;)

I've listened through it a few times. I think it's probably on par with Evisceration Plague, which I thought was decent. I'm glad these guys are getting hyped, since I think they deserve the recognition, although I've never loved them that much :P Probably a 3/5 for me.
