That's the thing. I'm fully aware that I shouldn't care so much about how low an artist tunes, but because of releases like this and Born Hanged I have this feeling of genuine unease when I hear a song or album with a guitar tone like that of those albums combined with the low tuning.

I'm not downplaying the experiences of war vets, sexual assault survivors, etc. in the slightest, what I'm saying is I have a very strong emotional reaction when some bands play in a similar manner to that of this album and Born Hanged, but only with the same obnoxious production style and low tuning.

It made such a lasting impression that I have to really fight to enjoy records along the lines of the first Wage War album and anything I've tried from Sleep Waker because I keep getting reminded of this album when listening to their music.

Deathbat is basically Snide 2.0, with the difference being that Snide is actually a decent dude when you cut through all the bullshit
