Album Rating: 3.5
I think this album deserves a 3.5. I was gonna write a review (which would have been my first), but since there is already one up I'll save it for a different album. I actually thought that the album remained relatively cohesive throughout, while still retaining some of the post-hardcore elements that give Enter Shikari their sound. I'll admit that I'm a big fan of both their other albums, but still...this album really appealed to me and I was unsure of how it would turn out.

Almost on par with Common Dreads in my books. This is way less consistent, but has a couple more memorable songs. TTTS owns both of them, though.

"how well they fused the raw aggression of post-hardcore with the energetic dance vibe of electronic music"
Wrong (:

nope correct
Okay I just wrote a very detailed and great review, but when I sent it, it took me to the login page and on my profile shows no existence of me writing it. Do they have to check or something before putting it in? I'm very frustrated because I spent all night writing my first review and I'm scared I didn't go through. Anyone know how this works?
oh come on man did you really not write it in microsoft word or at least copy it before you clicked submit

ok seriously, wtf is going on with the "professional ratings". I mean, except drowned in sound, all the other ratings are OVER-exaggerating. I've never seen such a propaganda since the release of BMTH's latest album

Reviewers just can't let go of this band in this country. And some reviews from 'respectable' sources just go on about the political message for 4/5 of the review and barely talk about the actual music. I think they feel compelled to rate this highly just because it gives the impressiom of being contemporary, relevant and original

Agree and that's fair enough considering that their past records were objectively decent (I'm not talking personally, I love ES). But, in the other hand, I don't get why ALL those reviewers are trying so hard to convince people that this album's awesome. As for the political message, ok, Common Dreads was "contemporary, relevant and original" for the exact same reason, so this statement is already used to justify their rating. And ok, let's say that they indeed feel compelled to rate this highly. Rate it with a 7 or a 8 out of 10 in the best occasion, all these 9's and 10's are ridiculous.
