I had to avert my eyes, but then again I'm extremely squeamish towards that type of stuff

Try watching it with your family. It is indeed a family movie.

The first thing I noticed about this soundtrack was that HOLY SHIT THAT'S A LOT OF MUSIC. Who writes this much music???
The movie ruled btw, it was a strong 9/10, it eviscarated the original. This soundtrack is likewise as good. Social Network was A+ as a movie, and the music had a bigger presence in the film. However, the standalone soundtrack wasn't QUITE as good so this is better

This seems more atmospheric noise, which is still way cool... I just like the melodies and chords of the Social Network more.

Great soundtrack, wonderful movie. Bought the DVD (with the limited edition poster) on Sunday and watched it a few times these past few days. Yeah.

Not sure if anyone else reads the review this way, but this review makes it sound like this is the second time Reznor and Ross have collaborated, when it's actually their sixth time: With Teeth, Year Zero, Ghosts I-IV, The Slip, The Social Network and then this. Also not sure whether anyone cares...

Can't wait to see gone girl (another Fincher film) and hear the soundtrack Trent and Atticus are
doing for it. It's likely going to be another moody, atmospheric piece.
