This is different to their other albums, I'd recommend starting with Bath (although this is awesome, so you'll probs dig anyway)

You need to listen to think of motW and Kayo Dot as one big experimental project. And take some time to listen to the album for what it is rather than focus on how the lyrics are unrealistic, mcg182.
