Well, if the set of values you have runnin thru your mind is that the stuff on the wall is supposed to make some kind of obvious sense, most likely you will be dissapointed. Great art is rarely straightforward and often straighforward too, depending on which period we are talking, of course.
I'm not a big museum-goer, so most of the time I just laugh or smile when I see something that's just plain silly/nonsensical for the sake of being exactly that.
It's always a great experience, though. I went to the Picasso-museum in Barcelona once and I really liked his blue period (how he captured the people on the street), but was totally put off by this room with "random" shapes and figures in pretty much the same colours. Variations over the same theme tend to annoy me.. Cubism is vulgar imo.

Unfortunately the Picasso museum here has been shut for renovations since forever, and its reopening will probably coincide with my departure. There is an exhibition on at another museum that I will likely check out, though
