I may have sounded a bit harsh myself, xfearbefore. Truth be told we do need more critical thinkers/debaters like you around here. Even if all you argue about is semantics ;) In any case, my apologies to you as well.

Can we hug it out? =)

And no Devvie I'm not hugging you cause you always make fun of how warm and rubbery I can be =p

Hugs for everyone. And possibly drugs. Maybe pugs. But mostly hugs.

Jacques Greene's remix of Lotus Flower is my favorite at the moment

hmm -- i enjoy caribou's little by little, lone's feral and some other stuff but overall it just makes me like the original more. jacques greene's remix of lotus flower kinda annoys me surprisingly

Yeah I thought so too. The track on its own was one of the highlights of the original album for me too, so that might play a role. But I really thought that was one of the best. Whole thing is interesting as shit though.

Just cracked this and WOW. This is much more immediate to me than the original album, which after 20 listens I still don't very much care for. First five tracks pretty much kill.

'There's a reason why it's like that' . i hold you responsible.

nothing against this album -- for a remix album it's real solid, despite being repetitive and scattered. i'm more just frustrated by the low rating for the king of limbs.

King of Limbs is mostly boring imo, Andy. I think I summed up my feelings nicely in my soundoff, although I've come around to it a little since writing that. I definitely like this more.

'monotonous vocals' ? ='(

this is more experimental and could quite possibly be more influential down the road, but i find the original to be a smooth, incredibly tight experience that always provides a great listen through and through, while this is flinging a bit too wildly for its own good. For whatever 'monotony' found in king of limbs, it never strikes a single chord i disagree with and provides several exceptionally innovative tracks to boot. i'm not saying it's absurd that rmx is rated higher than the original, but i personally find it somewhat difficult to understand.

ps ever since you got a new gf matt, i haven't seen you around as much. too cool for us these days?
