It's been such a good year for Hip-Hop, that whilst normally I'd give this the time to grow, there's stuff I'd rather be listening to (Rae, CL's, Phonte, Sole, The Roots).
Rae and Phonte are both better than this imo but this is still top 5 hip hop for 2011.

well it used to be a 1.5 because i had such a gut negative reaction to the production (except HiiiPower) but i'll concede it's more personal preference. i dont really strive to be objective in ratings though so a 2 it shall remain with the raise being an acknowledgement of Kendrick's ability
