i'd honestly say aside from faron young being kinda bland for the opening tune and dolby's production adding a bit to the cheese factor, this is a flawless 80s pop record

really? faron young is one of my favorites tbh. The bass and banjo are so hype and the mini breakdown with the trippy electronic drums is just amazing
With that said i'll admit it doesn't quite mesh as well sound wise compared to the rest of the album.
honestly the only weak track to me is horsin' around... The 80's cheese production rears it's head at times, but overall this doesn't sound too dated to me especially when compared to a lot of lo-fi/indie pop i jam

horsin' around grew on me hard
side two as a whole kinda goes a bit jazzy at points, no thanks to dolby
