I think Howard's voice probably beats Jesse's for me but this is the album that got me listening to KSE. Numbered Days, Life to Lifeless, Rise Inside, & Element of One are by far some of my favorite songs Killswitch ever did and mostly surpass what Howard has written...still their new stuff seem to hold water over most of the other metalcore shit thats out at the time.

I think they sound completely different with both singers. AOJB was pretty straightfoward, but since they got Howard on the boat, along with the Foley canole, they've gotten alot more technical. I look at Killswitch as two bands: old killswitch, and new killswitch.

KsE's best album to date
IMO Jesse is a better screamer but when it comes to singing Howard is much better.

I think a lot of people would say the opposite
I would.
The five song stretch at the beginning of this trumps their other albums by itself, if you ask me.

Jesse sings and screams much better than Howard.
Howard's voice gets pretty annoying tbh. Jesse's voice just sounds so much more raw and emotional than Howard's does.

Well, first of all, I completely disagree about Your disdain for the track To The Sons Of Man. Just hearing Your opinion on it only solidifies my guess that You aren't a metal head. Or at least an Old School one. I presume so because I notice it's the only song You dislike on the album, which happens to be the most thrash metal/least metalcore song on the album. It's all aggression. True Metal fueled aggression. Which is why I find it to be the best song on the album.
I also find Jesse's vocals to be some of masterpiece and perfection.
And Thor, Alive or Just Breathing and The End Of Heartache are such radically different albums, nevermind music style, that You are not just making a really big mistake of refusing to give it a listen, that You are also proving Yourself a fool by doing so. IMO, of course.
But overall, if You must consider this album Metalcore, than You should consider it the richest flavor of Metalcore in existance. Ever. IMO.

Naw dude...its just metalcore...good though it may be...still metalcore (and richest flavor of metalcore sounds a bit absurd)

I prefer Jesse's screams over Howards' but I think Howards singing is better.

Jesse just sang with so much more emotion and it ended up being his downfall. I love his voice on this album, because every song feels like he put everything he had into every song.

This album is the best KSE album period. As to the Howard/Jesse debate, I think Howard is a better vocalist overall (when he does these songs live they're awesome) but I personally prefer Jesse.
His screaming on this album is unbelievable.
