I don't really like Tyler's production period. I think Left Brain has a much better ear for beats. Also, I absolutely hate Tyler's lyrics on this.

this review is not very good. there are quite a few typos and it doesn't really say anything except "there was hype for this but don't worry it's still good, also: controversy"

I can't stand Tyler's lyrics. He's way too much. Ruins any chance of getting into these guys, which is unfortunate because I love hip-hop and they seem to be the next big thing

I agree with the whole lyric thing. I think he's just too into swearing. I want deep lyrics, not profane or controversial lyrics. I mean I don't so much mind controversial lyrics as long as their not controversial for the reason that Tyler's are...

cant say i understand the Odd Future hype completely. i dont hear this awesome lyricist like the young Geto Boys, Nas, Kast or Em and the beats are nowhere near Rza and early 3-6 greatness. I do admire their great marketing skills though.
And if Odd Future was just a bunch of white kids they would get written off as eminem worship/Icp fanboys, instead of this new breed of hip-hop greatness.

"i've heard odd future get compared to icp before and it still confuses me how they'd ever get compared in a million years."
It's cuz people are retarded.
|
| |
its cuz they rap about "dark/taboo topics" to the point of comical porportions.
|
| |
Gotta love those taboo topics. Always seems that subject matter that deals with the taboo is more critically acclaimed.

Dude, who said I listened to these guys? I've heard just a few of the songs around the web, but that doesn't mean I ever go out of my way to listen to them. I merely know the lyrical content based upon the few songs I've heard.

Why's everyone hating Radicals?
The ending went way to long, but it was a great song?
