I didn't specifically mean this album, and I'd have to disagree and say PR is right there with this and Security not all that far behind

Love all three and they were formative for myself and basically everyone else at the time getting into heavier music

Hate the pop punk singing this band has in almost every song - such a waste because the instrumentals are good very thrash like. Comfort betrays is best song by this band, within destruction probably second and what do they have in common, no pop punk singing

Can confirm, Nothing Left definitely sounds like it could’ve been sung by Tom DeLonge. Vocals are 100% identical

I’m not surprised they’re good live! I’ve always really liked them

(though I don’t really have a switchfoot tat (goodbye street cred))

they did a really great job of getting the right mix of heavy and melodic songs on this. Pretty much a perfect album, This Is Who We Are kind of goes over like a lead-balloon but even that one kinda grew on me

This one just has that special sauce. Banger riffs and drumming, nice mix between melody and brutality, great album pacing, satisfying beginning and end, etc. really wish i could time travel back to before i knew Tim was a piece of shit and jam this.

The production kills me on that one, the drums especially. Some bangers though. Distance is Darkness is great
