No it isn't! This doesn't sound like J-Rock at all, and J-Rock is a stupid term anyway. Rock is rock. This album has much more variety to it. It would be silly to classify this as a "j-rock" album.

klatter is great but it's mostly(i think) old material bros. the style is a bit like droneevil final too except not as good.

Today is my first day listening to Boris. My progress went like this Flood, Feedbacker, Pink, and now this. This is a hell of a lot different than their other work, but it's just as awesome.

and the band is rarely pigeonholed in the "drone/ambient" genre. most long time fans of the band got into them because of their drone-based stuff. also, the majority of their fanbase considers the more drone-involved albums to be their best. its not them being pigeonholed as drone as much as it is people talking about their drone albums more than the rest of their discography

it would be nice to see you do some research on a band like this before throwing out a review and posting shit like you know what youre talking about when its all assumption on your part
