Lack of energy and inspiration, that describes it all. The whole black metal scene is exhausted, the times are new, not 90's and black metal doesn't fit anymore. To me it's better to listen the classics from time to time, not these weak attempts.
Varg will never be able to do something like Burzum, Det Som Engang Var or Hvis Lyset Tar Os, it's better to turn off the style - some folklore, nordic ballads, kind of

There are bands still making great and innovative black metal. Burzum just isn't one of them.
