Oh look out guys we've got a creative one here.

"ADD crippled mongoloid" seriously...

This is a pretty good album it does get a little bland after a few listens.

I think the only thing this album lacks is a heart stopping solo. Excellent work though, album and review.

I have this album, but my tracklisting is different...

Is this tracklisting off of a different version or something?

this is kind of band that will bring rock to its knees and sink rap to the bottom

No, no, no, no...
I remember bringing this up in another WM review, but here it is anyway for all those who missed it-
A friend of mine who organised a fairly large rock festival around my area gave Wolfmother a call to see if they'd be interested in playing. That dork with the afro said to her-
'I'm sorry, we can't do that, we don't want people to see us as an Australian band.'
Right then. Besides which, their sound is so goddamn ripped off the gods of rock that they may as well be playing a bunch of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple covers.
Just disgustingly unoriginal.

i seriously doubt your claims (pattern_recognition) that you:

A) Have a friend who is organising a rock festival and managed to speak to Stockdale in person, rather than some management type

B) That you have friends

and finally, please stop using this post to repeatedly sledge other peoples comments about the band, or any other band, this is used for comments on the band and the review, not to tell people continuosly why their comments are wrong. We are all entitled to our own opinions, stop shooting people down.

And finally, '...be playing a bunch of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple...' stop living in the past. That was then, this is now. GET OVER IT

Rap was always at the bottom

That was low Auldy, low. Close to tears now...
If you're from anywhere in the Hunter region (a long shot, I know), the festival (admittedly, 'festival' is a stretch) was Groovin' The Moo, it took place in Maitland about two months ago, the chick who spoke to Andrew is called Josie, and I have no reason to doubt that she spoke to Andrew, as she was previously quite a large fan of the band and would have no reason to invent something as slanderous as that.
And as long as bands as relentlessly derivative as this keep hitting the big time, I'm gonna keep railing about them. I've never disputed anybody's right to like these guys or called people names for doing so, and I've never said that this was anything but a good review, so kindly ease off with the personal attacks.
Anyway, peace man.

the only problem with this album is on a lot of songs, like Woman, it screams for a kick ass page-ish solo, but is let down.

Apart from no ripping solos, I think the main problem with this album is they cramed too many tracks on it. It's good that they can write alot of stuff, but it's hard for the songs to really stand out because theres too many of them.
