i would also agree with what others are saying - that it's her best album. front to back this is just perfect. on battleship hill, the glorious land, and written on the forehead are some of the best songs she's ever written.

This is the only PJ Harvey studio album I haven't checked. I hear good things about it though.

Finally got around to this album. The 4 albums Flood produced are PJ Harvey's best.
Coincidence? I think not!
Though I've only heard Let England Shake once, it shows grower potential despite already
being a 4.5 for me, hmmm. Great album.
