Well fuck, you might like the rest then. I had to call it quits just barely past halfway but I hated nearly every second of it and didn't make it through a single song without eventually skipping.

the bands trajectory makes it look like kicking out Katie Lee was a huge mistake. but that being said it sounds like these guys were complete cunts and massive hypocrites to her so i guess thats what they deserve. i'm sure like 90% of the drama was Raphaelle tho considering how infamous she is for being just the worst. as much as i loved this album there is no part of me that is sad to not support their music anymore.

these guys are from my home town and i know and have met multitudes of people who knew Raphaelle from school, the music scene, or elsewhere and she's pretty much unanimously despised.

i didn't realize there was so much drama surrounding them, never really tuned in to any of that, just thought they went massively downhill after this album

theres a pretty cool interview out there somewhere where Raphaelle talks about when she was living with Grimes in Montreal and had a psychotic break and thought she was a fallen angel for a period of time

and by 'cool' i mean 'cringe'

I had to tap out about halfway through when I realised how banal and unengaging it all was. Didn't know about any of the behind the scenes but you can tell they've lost a pivotal member
