this is incredible. I honestly find the subdued use of vocals to be a welcome and unique touch.

the split with ash borer is pretty much the best black metal of the 21st century for me
theres prolly all these underground rasputin bands that r better but for me that split is like the greatest thing
the fell voices song on it is absolutely brilliant

best of 21c is a stretch but ash borer and to a lesser extent these guys are 2 of my fav modern bm bands

I've heard probably the majority of atmo BM and there are hardly any bands as good as Fell Voices and Ash Borer

they definitely hit that sweet spot between aggression, atmosphere and melody. not many bands balance those as well
