And this is so much better.

Coming off the high that was their best album 'Blue Sky Noise', Philadelphian alt-rockers Circa Survive look to take advantage of the momentum with 5 track EP 'Appendage'. Containing one demo, as well as 4 other complete tunes from the David Bottrill produced 'Blue Sky Noise' sessions, this is a solid 22 minutes worth that plays out as more than just a B-sides compilation. Due to the band's samey nature, the EP format suits Circa Survive well & they provide sufficient diversity here without sacrificing cohesion. Ultimately, this is a worthwhile release. Recommended Tracks: Every Way, Backmask & Stare Like You'll Stay.

He's been a recovering addict for a long time, but has had relapses here and there, and I believe one of those relapses was during the BSN sessions. I know for a fact that we has on heroin during the recording of the DVD for the Violent Waves deluxe CD. Can't recall off the top of my head if that was during BSN or after.
