The feel I got from this is a slightly more polished, more streamlined Monitor with Saxophones thrown in

Not really sure how anyone can find this outright bad tbh. I mean, I understand not getting it or not having it live up to your expectations, but anything below a 2.5 I just don't understand. The final song alone is objectively amazing.

Yeah this definitely reminds me of The Monitor a lot more than The '59 Sound. I'm still not sure about the sax but once I get used to that I can see myself liking this more.

I think the sax is what it makes it awesome personally. I don't get why people are listening to this and rating it so low, and then going "oh, well it's not a genre of music I like..."



Well then don't rate it then/listen to it. I mean, I can't stand country, so there's no point me listening to Taylor Swift because I know I won't enjoy it, and so wouldn't be able to rate it fairly.

I agree Deathcar, I never rated any hip-hop albums I listened to until I started to get into the genre and enjoy it and had listened to it enough to separate the good from the bad.

Lol the thing you've gotta realize, is I love this type of music. This album just didn't do much for me. :/ Sadly.

It's not like I'm just going around and rating it below a four just because it's some genre I don't like. I just don't care for this album all the much.
