geddy's vocals definitely take a while to get used to, I had to listen to Moving Pictures quite a few times before i truly enjoyed it

also, it's not the fact that he's high pitched, it's just grating. i don't know how else to explain it, it just tires me out after awhile. rush is good occasionally but that's about it for me.

sounds really on par with the album. people need to cut him some slack. the way he screams probably is tiring on the vocal chords, it's no wonder he runs out of breath sometimes. also i'm pretty sure he's a heavy smoker, which drastically lowers lung capacity.
i know this for a fact because i smoke and my lung capacity is shit
