"The ringing tone in my left ear is a not altogether unpleasant reminder of those happy yet difficult times"

Are you serious? How did that happen? I highly cherish my hearing, I do know know what would I do if something similar happened to me. As of late I have been hearing too much music on headphones, need to cool it down. BlindDude's comments does not comfort me; that has always worried me.

I enjoy this for the female vocals, and heavier jazz influences. Their debut I enjoy for the atmosphere.

Great album, great band. This is my absolute favourite band in the "doom/dark jazz" genre, and they haven't let me down yet.

This is quite good, reminds me of a mix between Cinematic Orchestra and Skalpel.

I may bump this to a 4.5 eventually. Absolutely ethereal. I'm not quite sure why I keep returning to it, but I find more in it every time. Definitely an album you have to listen to front to back, opposed to individual songs. Impossible to pick a favorite or least favorite song; they all offer something unique to the experience. The atmosphere is just haunting and chilling in such a unique way.

Very good album. From The Stairwell will always be my #1 of them. But the self-titled and this one are both very strong. I like that they mix jazz with electronic genres like ambient, trip-hop and others.
