@Pikazilla, Roots to Branches is nearly perfect.

I really never checked it Jethro. I need to do that.

Yes, it's worth checking out. And apparently, the very last one (Zealot) sounds like their heydays, so yes...

I'm a bit curious about Zealot.
|
| |
I'm listening to Zealot right now and I'm enjoying it for what it is. It's got a lot of linear parts driven by steady catchy rhythms, but it's also definitely got a honest attempt at a bit of prog (Mine Is the Mountain) and classic acoustic Tull (Jacob's Tales) too
edit: argh the more it goes on the more it relies on the steady beats. However the classic Tull "make-up" makes it pleasant enough

I only heard the first song so far, and I'm not hurry to listening to the rest.

Album Rating: 3.0
After one listen, I like Zealot better than I expected to. I was kind of nervous about this one, especially after that String Quartets debacle. I don't know where I'll rate it in their overall catalog, but at very least they didn't embarrass themselves with this one.

"I only heard the first song so far, and I'm not hurry to listening to the rest."
I would give a shot to tracks 2 and 3 for curiosity's sake

There are 4 Jethro Tull albums I don’t remember hearing as a kid and they are highly regarded on this websites rating scheme, Stand Up, Minstrel, Songs From The Wood, Heavy Horses. I think this could be a grand adventure listening to all 4 in one day.

Stand up is the shite, storm
|

Agreed. Songs from the Wood and Heavy Horses are among my top-tier Tull too

Me too, especially of Songs From The Wood, a classic of them.

That would be a worthwhile endeavor, Storm. Let me know if you do it. Like Sabrutin, I'm especially fond of Songs From the Wood and Heavy Horses.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again this is bloody underrated
