Haha fair point. I know they're not DM and assumed he did too. Good point about the image though. Just seemed weird that it has that in capitals in brackets, tripped me up.

This album is the most punk rock thing to happen in the past decade.

Death Metal sounds more raw and odd than metalcore does, plus most people don't even know the difference anyways. Although, I'm not totally sure if I can really say that about the people that listen to his music...

I'd guess most Frank Turner fans know quite a bit about music actually.

How so? I'm not comparing the music but rather the lyrics and the message that is sent. I just find that Frank Turner's lyrics are more inspirational and relatable to me. I know in a sense comparing the lyrics is a stretch but I'm just saying that Frank's lyrics fill the void that TA's lyrics seem to for other people. This is a reaction to seemingly everyone declaring TA's lyrics as the gospel.

I still haven't showed up at this party and I really feel as if I should have a long time ago.

They are two different sides of the same coin. I can relate to both, but you not feeling Titus Andronicus' lyrics means that you don't spend enough time wallowing in self doubt

I can relate to the lyrics relating to self-doubt or defeat it's just that I feel that Stickle's is content with just wallowing in that turmoil without trying to improve himself or trying to reach a better conclusion. Yes, I know that that the lack of an answer or solution for problems is the draw of his lyrics but right now I just need something more positive. So yeah, you are partially right.

positivity blows. if you want something ludicrously positive listen to Jonsi
