They are the one of the few deathcore bands that i can halfway tolerate. not quite as good as continent, but runs in the same area as The Dead Walk. Tactical Nuke is utter shit though. what the fuck were they thinking

Saw them live. Cool Tour. They were like the opposite of Underoath, being that they had a really negative energy, talked about being miserable and dying alone, and even threw in an anti-religion remark. Oh, also that they sucked while Underoath were amazing.

I heard about that. He's just so... monotone. I can't stand it.

Hopefully you're saying that in the same way that blessthefall were really energetic live and good, despite that they blow ass otherwise.

But on albums...

Edit: Converge were amazing when I saw them and it was on the Dethklok tour. Mastodon were just as good. It just sucks that Jacob's vocals weren't that great.

Tool is the only band that I know of that sounds exactly the same live. Of the bands that I've actually seen at least. I' watched some Brand New videos earlier and they seem to be really close.

They didn't sound exactly the same when I saw them.

Tool is more of a "lay back and watch the colors" live band, so it suits them. I need to see them high one day.

I can't see how Massive Attack does anything live, with all of the guest vocalists and such. I still suspect that Isis will reunite in ten years, just like Godspeed.

I wish I could have seen that tour with Intronaut and Kylesa.

Long list of bands that I need to see live. Thrice, Brand New, Opeth, Neurosis, Cult of Luna, and Deftones (again) are just some examples.

P.S., almost 4000 comments.

Hitler had charisma and was a talented leader, but that doesn't mean that he was good as a person. Live shows and albums are two different settings for music. Good bands can handle both.

lol at the guy in the background complaining about "too many breakdowns"

is that like the cool kid gripe now?

and bassist looks gay in that vid. sorry dude, i can't back you up in your TDWP endeavors

Doesn't the band normally dress like scenefags? Also, I hate the band because they're bad and cancerous scene kid music.

naw man, wasn't referring to what the bassist is wearing. he's bobbing his head up and down very gay-like. almost looks like the elaine dancing version of a live guitar performance. just awkward

and their sound doesn't impress me, but i'm sure i like some bands that others can't stand, so it's all good

Nice review. I'm liking this so far(as I liked Continents) because it's not like Breakdown-Breakdown-Breakdown like it used to be. These guys have come WAY further than Emmure.
