Hiding from something they call home

Can't make up my mind whether In the Flesh is the best on here of the t/t. Have always been slightly more inclined towards In the Flesh I think.

In the Flesh is probably my favorite, followed by either Her Voices or Idioglossia. t/t rules but its not one of my personal top choices.

Such a shame they never included In the Flesh on a DVD. Her Voices is also fantastic, especially the instrumental section and final section. It sucks that Daniel had such a tight leash on the songwriting. Fredrik has some terrific contributions and should have been given more room

The musicians in the band up untill BE were fantastic and were the best lineup they had, if there ever was a doubt.

As for top track here, it'd be Her Voices and Idioglossia close behind. But as mentioned, In the Flesh is excellent too as are Reconciliation, t/t, Morning on Earth and Ashes. So much goodness.

I have mixed feelings about this band but i should probably revisit this. Jammed remedy lane the other day on a whim and it was definitely an experience. That patton inspired song about a miscarriage is really disconcertingly poignant, dayum.

They most likely had about 40 bucks and some canned food to record this tbh...

In the Flesh is fucking brutal. Sometimes I listen to it and have to stop the music and just go walk somewhere

It's a stunning piece of music, and it's dark for sure. I guess you can appreciate things like flowers more after listening to that kind of song haha

yeah In the Flesh has some of the most brutal lyrics ever

Now she bites the words

"Never"

She kicks the ground

"Never"

Swallows her tears

"Never will I go back"

She hits the walls

"Leave me!"

Scratches herself

"Leave me!"

Begs to all Gods

"Rip me from this sick flesh!"

"I will always be there"

"No!"

She holds her ears

"You know that I love you"

Pretends that she doesn't hear

"We're in this together"

"We share the same skin"

Panic in his voice now

"Free us from sin"

"Tell me that you love me"

This is the end

"I know that you do"

Daniel was just like "hey lets write a song about parents that molest their daughter but tell her its cool cause we're all family and we love each other"
