Great album, not sure whether this or I Am Undone is better though...I personally think the lyrics are great, although they were better on IAU.

I lived in Korea most of my life as a military brat so I never got to watch any live bands until last year. It seems that all the live bands that I see become one of my top bands. I listened to My Epic's CD a few weeks ago and loved it but didn't crave listening to it like I do with every Thrice album, or Brand New who I just happened to start listening to a couple of months back as well. BTW, TDAGARIOM is played through at least once a day. When I went to My Epic's show I was pretty annoyed by the time the band got on stage cause I had just sat through 5 unbearable grunge metal bands that all sounded exactly alike. My friends and I actually have a hard time remembering how many bands actually played. Anyways the 30 minute set My Epic played was pretty epic. I haven't been to too many shows but I have never seen any band appear to be more passionate about their music than My Epic. Thrice was the band that got me to start loving music back in 2002 with Illusion of Safety, and Dustin Kensrue has and probably always will be my favorite lyricist, but I have never heard more honest lyrics than these. I have been having questions about my faith recently and Aaron's "speech" filled with the amount of people encapsulated by his words really touched me.

I'm not religious at all, and yet (hehe), i love this album. How is it not amazing, SeaAnemone and Romulus? I'd like you to elaborate on your points of view.

This is really a terrific album. I liked their debut but it tended to be a bit nondescript at times, particularly later in the album. This one has more grab to it, I think. And usually I don't care about lyrics, but this is one well-written album. It's great to have some intelligent Christian-made music around. Keep it coming, guys!
