I saw these guys live and they are amazing, they played songs from this album, and after I got home I bought it. It's really a very good album, some variety.
Good Stuff. A little whiny at some parts. But all in all very good.

[The whole "scene band" thing is annoying me a little. Js.]
Regardless, I'm thoroughly enjoying this album, especially Besitos, Caraphernelia, and Stay Away
from My Friends. Jeremy's part in Caraphernelia is such a great hook. And I love the riffs through
Besitos, and that little part in there like;
"A diamond bullet and a gun made of gold, she was covered in blood, last seen in San Francisco,
YEEEEAAAH!".
Vic's voice was an acquired taste for me. I disliked it originally, then it began to grow on me. If
you don't like this band just because of the vocals, just give it a few more listens now and again,
maybe it'll grow on you like it did me. As stated in the review, it's definitely the biggest
deciding factor in whether or not you like the band.
I also agree that the album art is pretty stupid. That's one complaint I have about Pierce the Veil.
Don't care for their album art.

This album art SOOOO ripped off Ligeia's Your Ghost Is A Gift.

Id rather be water boarded for the rest of my life than listen to this nutless thing with hair extensions and skinny jeans sing. Oh my God this is the worst thing I have ever heard. How do people enjoy this without being at least bisexual. Listen to Korn and be real men.

No deathcore is the other end of the spectrum. Trying to be/look so brootal that its even more pathetic. This is just the most metrosexual thing Ive ever heard. I despise this kind of music, and yes the vocals are a big turn off as it seems to be for others too. I feel my clothes getting tighter and bright purple streaks appearing in my hair as I listen to it.
The guys in the band could look like the cast of Predator and itd still be horrible. Dont be so defensive though fellas enjoy it if it pleases your eardrums. Im just way too dark and mysterious for this which is why I listen to Tool.

I like how your attempts to criticize the actual musicianship on the album keep reverting to insults on the physical appearance associated with this type of music.

Pmmets Im the same guy who ragged on your pop punk list. Post Hardcore like this is revolting in the same way. It just doesnt vibe with me. I can care less about the fuckin musicianship lol. It sucks and theres nothing else to say. Image aside you can tell alot about some bands by the way they look, and this is one of them.
I guess I have to start liking ponies.

Flutter how did you go from listening to Megadeth at 13 to this queer eye for the straight guy poopy? You sadden me.
|

So you're saying this is shitty then? Since you're not an elitist anymore and all.

You do realize this is a complete contradiction, right?

Yea that came out wrong. I just meant to say you can tell how many bands sound by the way they look. This band has that quintessential scene-esque modern post hardcore look and thats exactly how they sound. If you like it great I know alot of people do.
