The feeling was that it was mostly unrelated and needed purged.
As someone who grew up in the era and hates 80's metal this was a a shock and a pleasure. This really is a good album. Perhaps it's 80's metal before it morphed into what I hate?

Omni after you listen to this again go listen to the Metallica covers of Am I Evil, THe Prince, Its Electric, and Helpless.
Its pretty cool to compare.
Cant say I get a Shout at the Devil vibe from that song, although Ive never compared them to hair metal.
