This review is amazing Rudy. That's awesome you got into Elliott Smith at such a young age and was age to appreciate it. I agree no matter how up-beat his song's like 'Happiness' are there's still so much heartache and sadness present. I love the flow of the last 5 tracks on this record and how it all leads up to the incredible 'Can't Make a Sound'. The lyrics to that song are so deep and moving especially the lines "Spinning the world like a toy top until there's a ghost in every town, can't make a sound". I love each Elliott Smith record but this may be my personal favorite.
