Though it is missing the bass it should of had, "Justice" features the best technicals skill (though not Metallica's forte) that Metallica had ever displayed. The best drumming from Lars, the most satisfying solos from Hammet, and the best lyrics that James has ever spewed from his mouth. This is my favorite because of the subtle complexities, yeah, maybe the first three albums are a bit more 'vibrant' but the heaviness and raw energy from the lyrics and vocals make up for what is sometimes called 'monotonous'.

thats what most say. I love Sanity, the lyrics and the solo, love Beholder, great lyrics and that epic intro. I don't know why AJFA is my fave, I mean yeah Lightning and Puppets are the most vibrant and do have audible bass, and even despite AJFA's flaws, it's still my favorite. The lyrics, and just how fucking raw and heavy it is.... but its all opinion.
