Dunno if you've seen the print advertisement going around, but I like the way they've used reviewer quotes to make out it's the best album of the year.

I knew they were going to do that, it makes sense really. The incentive for bands to compete is the opportunity for them to play with British India. Naturally, making BI seem better then they are will get more people interested.
Funny how the artists that are supposed to be worshipping them like gods are actually better then them.
Oh, did you notice the error in their liner notes for the Spiro Agnew excerpt?

No, I did not. What is the error?

Where Agnew says "We seem to be entering an age of the gross. Persuasion through speeches and books is too often discarded for disruptive demonstration, aimed at bludgeoning the unconvinced into action."
They wrote in the album booklet: "Persuasion through speeches and books is too often regarded as disruptive demonstration, aimed at bludgeoning the unconvinced into action."
That's a pretty significant difference in my opinion, particularly considering it changes the meaning of that entire sentence.

Oh my, that's definitely significant. Discarded & regarded basically are polar opposites in that context.

That's not the only fuck up. The track listing on the back of the album case is almost completely different to the one at the back of the album booklet, which has "Messiah" replaced with a song called "Should Have Stayed Home Tonight" It appears they printed the booklet, changed the track listing and forgot to fix it up.
I'm sorry, but these guys haven't exactly earned my respect with those kind of errors.

Yeah, I knew about the track-listing being all arse-about & that different song title. Definietly not something that would be wanted and a lot of time it is out of the band's hands.

a lot of time it is out of the band's hands.
Yeah, fair enough that.
Hey, I just realized, you changed your avatar. how many times have you done that in the whole year I've been here? The only one I've ever seen you with is the Rise Against one.

Whole year? This is the 1st time I have changed it at Sputnik full stop. I was tempted to change it to the Emery album cover last year, but I have now given in to my new crush.

Well, she is sort of folky, but more pop-rocky than Lisa. And Scottish, not Aussie.
