I like Ray Allen and I used to like Paul Pierce. I lost a lot of respect for PP in the 2008 Finals, when he put on that primadonna act and had 4 teammates literally carry him off the court and put him in a wheel chair, only to see him running back running full-speed on the court within like 5 or 10 minutes. Give me a break. It's like LeBron and his left-handed free throw, they all want their own version of Jordan's "flu-game" in 1998.
I would love to see the Bulls sign Ray-Ray this offseason, I think he's got a few good years left. We already have a top 5 PG in Rose and a top 5 center in Noah, just give me one of LeBron/Bosh/Stoudamire and Ray Allen plus our #17 pick to go with Deng, Gibson and Hinrich and I think we're a top 3-5 team in the NBA. Ray Allen would be a perfect SG next to Rose.
Also, I could give Rondo top 5 PG status, but I'm not sold on him as top 3 quite yet - I'd like to see how many assists he could rack up without PP and Ray Allen first of all - and his defense is wildly overrated. Anytime you're picked in the top 25 when 400 players declare for the draft and you've only had one year of college under your belt (AND considering Tubby Smith didn't even play him much because he was such a little prick) you're highly regarded. He was a high-ceiling, low-floor type of guy, but he was a top 10 prospect coming out of high school.

hinrich is the fucking man love that guy
|
| |
Hinrich is tougher than half of them hood "niggas" in the league. Go on wit yo bad self, white boy!
|
| |
just look at him u know he eats babies for breakfast.
|
| |
I really hope that didn't come off as racist. I was just going by an Artest tweet
|
| |
I love Hinrich, I just wish he hadn't lost confidence in his shot. Still the best on-ball wing defender in the NBA though (he gets no credit for it though, because stupid TV people and writers only care about guys who get one or two highlight steals/blocks a game and get beat on the other 38 possessions *cough* Rondo *cough* LeBron *cough*).
|
| |
It's cuz he's white!
|
| |
It's cuz he was a jayhawk!
|
| |
It's cuz he's got black hair!
|
| |
it's cause Vinny Del Negro never learned how to pronounce his name!
he called him "Kurt" for two straight years. I was hoping we'd keep VDN and sign Dirk Nowitzki just so I could hear Vinny call him "Dirt" after every game.

| |
anyone wanna talk about how awesome Joakim Noah is?
|
| |
Yeah guarding Reggie would have been a nightmare, they way he ran around moving through picks. God I loved Reggie Miller.
|
| |
im really happy for him... it's going to be great watching him in the finals for the next decade... im pretty sure if the bulls get lebron, the next 10 champs will look like this:
10 - celtics
11 - bulls
12 - bulls
13 - thunder
14 - bulls
15 - thunder
16 - bulls
17 - thunder
18 - thunder
19 - uhh... the Nets
|
| |
Noah = this decade's version of Bill Laimbeer.
|
| |
man, I'd be surprised if the C's can put another run like this together. They'll have to re-sign Ray Allen and figure out something with Garnett for that to happen.
But yeah, the Thunder are about 1 big-time PF away from a dynasty.
|
| |
na man, i included this year's champ lol
|
| |
BigHans: ugh I hate Laimbeer lol. He's not dirty or physical like Laimbeer in my opinion. He's also actually a nice guy, where as Laimbeer was a piece of shit. I don't really know who to compare him to. He's an eccentric 7 footer who runs the floor, passes and handles the ball like a SF yet gives up nothing in the way of rebounding and defense. He can take any C in the league off the dribble, and somehow manages to shoot 75% from the free throw line. If he develops a post game, we're looking at a 15 and 15 guy for the next 5-7 years.
academy: oh shit, didn't notice that. my bad!

No, Bron-Bron's coming to miami. It's a fact
|
| |
^keep dreamin' pit. D-Wade's already in paranoid, freak-out mode. Why else would he make those idiotic comments about the Bulls' lack of loyalty unless he was afraid none of the top guys were going to join him in Miami?
|
| |
For one, he didn't make any comments of the sort. As usual, the Miami Herald took his comments out of context, gave them to Dan Lebaretard, who then gave them to ESPN. Miami Herald has a bad habit of doing this to its local atheletes.
No one's going to Chicago but Johnson and Bosh. Stoudamire, Wade, and Bron are going to be in Miami, and Miami will rip off a late 80's-early 90's Bulls-type playoff run. Face it. It's fact
