Is ok, never cared too much about this band but they have some good songs. Also, they have some dull moments

Band is a joke, album is a joke. They were the best of the bunch during a time when insufferable radio rock flooded the airwaves... basically the king shit of shit mountain.
fuck'em.

lol no
this album was bland, but they have some great songs
and they put on a helluva live show. they outdid Metallica when I saw them several years back

Poor man's Alice in Chains. I'm glad they were able to outplay an aging over the hill metal band.

as if being 'aging' or 'over the hill' has any effect on a band's ability to put on an entertaining live show

"aging over the hill"
Redundant.

listened to this band again a few months ago and this is their best album IMO. their rhythm section is really good, amongst the best this genre has to offer. serna's vox were probably peaking here too. this is their heaviest album and has some stuff that's definitely on the metal spectrum. sad they dipped into pop rock following this release.
"crying like a bitch" is definitely the dumbest shit on this album and the weakest spot. cant stand 99% of the pantera-esque tough guy songs where the vocalist declares how badass they are. like stfu bro. speaking of pantera, this sounds way more pantera inspired than AIC inspired. never really saw the AIC comparison at all ngl, like ominpanzaer's 10 y/o comment. only thing remotely AIC about this band is that they occasionally have dual harmonizing vocalists singing at the same time, and they def weren't the only ones to do it. so idk about all the "AIC wannabe band" comments.
