being a weeb = rejecting your culture and buying into japan's in a usually superficial or poorly informed way (mostly via anime tbh, archweebs are peeps who think they understand the japanese day-to-day because of slice of life animes or who think they get japanese music because of anime ops or think they know japanese because they understand reaction comments in anime). so basically they are shit japanophiles.
outside of the punk and noise scenes, which are pretty much their own thing, melt-banana have zero cultural capital in japan and therefore don't fall into the weeb equation
