Probably. And for future referance to people, I speak my mind about things, if you're willing to argue, I'll argue back. I have no feelings so you can't offend me to any great extent. Just let me say what I want to say and leave it be. I don't like Children Of Bodom, and I didn't want to have to make it more clear then that (except fans of COB are another reason I get so ticked). Okay? Peace people.

That cravinov13 guy needs to shut the fuck up. He is spaming everything with pointless comments.

See what happens when you try to speak your mind? *shakes head in disgrace and walks away*

The bottomline is: COB=mediocre band, mediocre lyrics, some really good music, bad lyrics. Thus is my opinion, and I'm sticking with it.

They have better lyrics then the bands you bow down to. That's a fact.

Their guitar work is 1 million times better then anything you hold so dear.

If you call CoB mediocre? Who is great?

I agree that Crav could word his arguments better...however, he is stating his opinion. Nothing wrong with that.

I was actually listening to this today and last night. Still haven't recaptured the charm of their earlier albums (which I used to love), but it's a decent listen.

I've really taken a liking to "Are you Dead Yet?" and "Living Dead Beat". "Bastards of Bodom" is really good as well, along with "In Your Face".

I agree though, I find Follow the reaper to be the best. I know I've been a huge HateBreeder fanboy. I think there are several songs on hatebreeder that just don't hold my interest while Follow the Reaper is excellent all the way through.

I feel the same way. Both are incredible, but Hatebreeder had a select few moments where I felt like skipping through where Follow the Reaper was solid from start to Finnish.

Yeah, I was hijacked last night, so this account was banned until a couple hours ago. Nothing bad, but I was freaking out at the time.

What is "hi-jacking'?

Is that a fancy word to cracking someones account and messing around under it?

I think the title track is the best song on it. (AYDY)

I do think the vocals have gone down hill some though. To be completely objective and put fanboyism aside for a minute.

There next album will be very interesting. To see where they go with this new style. I hope they don't go "completely heavy" and lose melody. I have a feeling that could happen, sorta.

Songs like "In Your Face". Make me think that that is possible.

I agree about the vocals. They're the worst they've ever been, but I've gotten used to them. I seriously doubt they'll ever lose all melody though. Given the backgrounds of the musicians and the music here I think they'll always emphasize melody.

You do have to get kinda concered when you have newer songs that start to be plain heavy like "In your face".

Look at the album progresson though.

It has gone more and more towards that.

Follow the Reaper then HCDR. Now AYDY.

Hate Crew Death Roll had plenty of melody, don't get me wrong.

With it was "Sixpounder", that was just pure intense.

But the whole album. Had a more heavy theme then previous albums.

Then AYDY follows and builds on that.

That's how I see it.

Don't get me wrong for one minute though.

I'm a total CoB fanboy and always will be.

I see the logic, but I just get a feeling by reading about them and hearing what the band has to say that they'll never go that way completely.

I guess to be bring both sides,

It would be bad if they stayed only highly melodic,

Examples,

Kissing the shadows, Mask of Sanity, Hate Me, Needled 24/7 I love this song even though all the n00b CoB fans whore it along with Bed of razors(Made my all time great song list)

I love playing needled 24/7. The funny part is, the intro solo thingy and lead/main riff are eaiser then the verse. When I learned em.

I would have never thought that.
