Heroes To Us is incredible. I love Swampsong.

Swampsong has a few classics, but in also has a few songs which are unremarkable by the band's standards.
Heroes to Us - Arguably the band's best song and easily Swampsong's best.
Burbot's Revenge - I enjoy the prechorus but this one never struck me as great. Plus the chorus is essentially a weaker rehash
of the chorus of "Heroes to Us" right down to the syllables.
Cloned Insanity - One of the album's strongest tracks, top 3 or 4.
The Third, The Magical - I don't know it's good and has that "epic" feel, I just don't find it nearly as enjoyable as their more
energetic cuts.
Bird of Ill Omen - The intro lead is killer.
Doubtful About it All - Sometimes I really like this song, sometimes I pass it off as filler.
Tordah - Another one of the album's best track. The guitars in this one are insane, especially before the chorus.
Man of Mystery - This one is completely filler to me. My least favorite Kalmah song that doesn't appear on For the
Revolution.
Moon of My Nights - This one's a classic. No complaints. I think I might like Sacramentum even more though which is
remarkable.
Album is a solid 3.5 because Heroes to Us and Moon of My Nights are classic.

The Third, The Magical took me a while to like but when it clicked it was just amazing. The first verse to that song is pretty great.

Well for me its They will return>12 gauge>Swampsong>The black waltz/Swamplord>for the revolution
Also this bands just OWNS bodom incase anyone thinks they are an inferior, less good version of them. I think bodom are pretty good though but most of their songs don't have the same amount of replay value that kalmah possess's.
Anyway 12 Gauge is totally awesome, such a step up from FTR. I love one to fail, the title track, bullets are blind and hook the monster.

This album will stand the test of time as one of Kalmah's strongest releases and as a fan favourite. The replay value here is just tremendous.

Just got it and am listening for the first time. "Rust Never Sleeps" built up my expectations with the intro but was ultimately a bit disappointing for me. We'll see how the rest goes and if it grows over time though.

I'm a bit interested as to how they chose 12 gauge as their title track. It's a lot different from the band's other album names. I think Godeye would have been a better album name tbh.

Album rips....as does the review. Consistency is the name of the game and Kalmah have it down ten fold. These guys are hard to beat.
Keep up the fine work bodominflames
