That's what makes me sick in people. If Alter Bridge was in all music channels and all radios, they would be the biggest band around. Because they aren't, they aren't even noticed for their quality both lyrically, instrumentally and vocally.
But an asshole like Nickelback, that probably doesn't have two diferent notes in one song, will sell millions.

That's cause Nickelback has always aimed for radio play. They've found a working formula where they can release 2/3 of their album as singles to Top 40 and rock radio.
Whereas Alter Bridge made Blackbird for artistic reasons and knew the weren't going to get nearly the amount of coverage they deserved. I think with time, though, they may be more appreciated provided they can continue to make albums of this quality.

I just think they too confortable with the time. I mean Blackbird wasn't exactly released yesterday, and they still don't know for sure when they're releasing the next album...

I just think it's lame of them to try and shit their new album out in a hurry so they can rush off and do another creed tour this summer. They said AB was their main priority, but then the creed reunion came and now AB appears to be second priority. I'm nervous about their new album, especially after how terrible "Full Circle" was.

I'm nervous about it too, but I still have faith in them to make a good album.
In reality it probably won't be as good as Blackbird though, if it is I'll be ecstatic.

I have faith in them no doubt. There is no way Tremonti wasted anything good on Full Circle.

He did as good as he could for the reunion, but he needs Myles to write truly amazing songs. The two
of them working together is great, you can hear the chemistry they have in their songs. Full Circle
was okay I guess, but he can do better than that.

I don't think he honestly tried very hard on the new Creed album. He completely alienated his own style in favor of the generic Daughtry style that's all the rage nowadays. There were hardly any riffs that were reminiscent of anything that Creed sounded like in their prime. He said it himself that the label wanted radio singles so that's what he gave them. They really sold out to the extreme, old creed had more of a grunge feel, new creed is pure three doors down garbage. They have a lot of respect to gain from fans with the new AB album, Tremonti is known for being one of the best new guitarists around, but on Full Circle he just sounded like Daughtries guitar player if he could wank, not the creative original guitarist we all know he is.

Full Circle. LOL. I seriously think that was meaningless. Maybe Tremonti wasted something there, yeah, maybe material from an uninspired day. I believe they will make a big return, considering that they took a long time to do it. And I hope they do (we always have that 'maybe' in out minds) if they wanna keep growing the way they did with Blackbird.

Yeah, I'm not denying it was a sell-out album, he's definitely capable of more, and the solos were
uncreative compared to the incredible ones he put out on Blackbird. I did like the riffs though,
particularly in Fear. It just sounds so mediocre when you put it up against anything he's done with
AB.
